supplements and diet
Introduction
Diseases of the heart and, in particular, coronary artery
disease, congestive heart failure and cardiomyopathy (which leads
to heart transplants) are a group of diseases whose course can
be significantly affected by the use of nutritional supplements.
If you are concerned about preventing the build-up of plaque in
your arteries (atherosclerosis), stopping annoying and sometimes
life-threatening arrhythmias or treating a life-threatening cardiomyopathy
while waiting for a heart transplant than reading this section
will be of great help. To find out how to control coronary artery
disease continue reading.
Diet and Nutritional Supplements
Diet for the prevention and/or treatment of Coronary Artery
Disease
The diet that I recommend for people who want to prevent or, possibly,
reverse their Coronary Artery Disease is the Anti-X Diet, the
diet that prevents Syndrome X. This same diet, in my opinion,
is the best diet to help you lose or keep weight off. It is also
the best diet to minimize the development of most degenerative
diseases, such as adult onset diabetes, cardiac diseases, certain
cancers, hypertension, and osteoarthritis.
